Delete Your Account

1. How to Request Deletion

You can request deletion in either of the following ways.

• In the app: open Settings, scroll to the About section, tap Delete Account, and confirm. You must be signed in. Submitting the request signs you out of the app.
• By email: write to service at 2ndbeststud.io from the email address on the account, with the subject Delete My Account. Use this option if you can no longer sign in.

We may ask you to confirm ownership of the account before we act on a request received by email.

2. What We Delete

Deleting your account removes:

• Your account and sign-in identity, including your email address and profile name;
• Your coffee beans, recipes, brewing records, and brewing sessions;
• Your equipment entries (grinders, drippers, filter papers, and brewing waters);
• Photos you uploaded, such as bean and recipe images;
• Your app settings and preferences stored on our servers.

Deletion is permanent. We cannot restore an account or its data once the request has been processed, so export or note anything you want to keep beforehand.

3. What We Retain

• Aggregated or anonymized usage statistics that can no longer be linked back to you;
• Records we are required to keep by law, such as transaction and tax records, for the retention period the applicable law prescribes;
• Support and feedback correspondence, retained for up to 12 months so we can handle follow-up questions about the request itself.

4. How Long It Takes

We process deletion requests within 30 days of receiving them. We confirm by email once the account has been deleted.

5. Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Apple and Google manage subscription billing, so cancel yours in the App Store or Google Play before requesting deletion; otherwise it keeps renewing.
